I'M A NICE GIRL!

Taylor and my mom both said my last post sounded mean. I guess I was trying to sound funny, but it came out wrong. So to clarify, I'm a nice girl and I'm not mad at the gentleman that hit my car. It wasn't a kind thing to do, don't get me wrong, but I wish him no ill and I don't seriously wish his deportation. I cry when I see pigs on the freeway being driven to their death place. I keep a dollar in my car at all times in case I see a homeless person on the street corner so when he looks at me, I don't have to pretend not to see him. I buy magazines from crazy people who come to my door because they seem so nice and I want to help them out - even when it costs $60 and I feel like a huge sucker. I love kitties and puppies and want to cuddle them. I wish more people would hire ex-cons because they deserve a break once they get out of prison. I haven't yelled at anyone in years (sorry about that, Mom), and I keep rude comments to myself most of the time (telling them to Taylor doesn't count). I hope that clears things up. And if you're reading this guy that hit me - I hope you can scrape up the dough to get your car back. Just please don't drive without a license or insurance anymore. That's dangerous. :)

Hit and Run Update

So it appears that the kind gentleman that rammed his piece of junk car into mine is one - uninsured, two-doesn't have a driver's license, and three-doesn't speak English (hmmm...do I smell an illegal immigrant??). But because some saint of a bystander got his license plate, the police impounded his car. He'll have to pay a bunch of fees and get insurance before he can get it back. And then he'd have to fix his car, too. So I'm not holding my breath that he'll come through and somehow pay for my car's repairs. And perhaps I shouldn't delight in the misfortunes of others, but it makes me feel good that he got his ride taken away. I took one for the team and got this renegade driver off the streets! I honestly do (or did) have a soft spot for illegals. But it's one thing to suck up our country's resources and not pay taxes, it's another to drive around like a crazy person and injure ME and make ME pay my insurance copay to fix damage YOU did to my car. So go ahead and kick them out now.

Hit and Run

I've been victimized!! On the way to work this morning, some crazy monster of a human being rammed into me while I was stopped at a stoplight and then SPED AWAY! I didn't get his plate # because I was busy pulling off to the side of the road like a normal law-abiding citizen when he decided to flee the scene. But some nice person saw what happened and called the police and gave it to them. So now I get to wait around and hope that the police can track down this meanie and make him pay me the damage to our car (ok, we think we just need a new bumper).

And yes, I'm fine. No, Warren wasn't in the car. And I'm a little bit sore. It was a fun way to start a Thursday.
