Proud Parents of a Peanut

A peanut?? That's right...I have a peanut shaped person living in me. He or she will be born on or around April 4th, and we're pretty excited about it. I went to the doctor for the first time a couple weeks ago, and so far everything looks good. She or he was wiggling their little arm nubs like crazy. It was fun to see. Today, Taylor and W came with me to another screening ultrasound. They gave us a CD with pictures and a couple short video clips, which is extremely cool.

Hopefully W gets over his hatred for other babies -at least the ones mom gives any kind of attention to- in the next 7 months. Cause like it or not, there's gonna be a new baby on the block. :)

LOVE him!!!

Some days my child drives me up the wall. And it makes me wonder why the heck I decided to stay home all day, every day with him because he's so annoying. But then there are days like today...when I just can't get enough of this kid! He's been so good, so funny, and such a blast to hang out with. We went to the children's museum and then to the park, came home to eat lunch, and now he's napping away like a good boy. He hasn't whined once, he played nice with the other kids, and he's even been cuddly and nice to his mama. LOOOOVE my baby!!! I have to document these things so that when later this week I want to give him away, I can think back to this moment. :)

Playing with Dad

Would YOU Drink It???

I wouldn't. And neither will W.

My friend, Heidi, told me through her blog that this was a way she got her sweet little guy to "eat" his veggies. Warren about had a heart attack and "bleck"ed for a good couple minutes. He wouldn't even touch regular juice for the rest of the week, calling it yucky. That's what I get for trying to trick him. If you'd like to give it a go, find the recipe on Heidi's blog. She says making it frozen helps. I can't imagine how.

Since we've been back

Before Tay went back to work, we were lazy and just hung out at home everyday. It was bliss. Back to real life now that work has started for Tay and I'm at home all day with no life. Boo to real life.

Blackmail

Oh yeah...

For you Twilight freaks (and you know you are if you're obsessed and over the age of 16)...yes Port Angeles is just down the road from Forks. I was breathing Bella and Edward's air.

Vacation Pictures!

These are out of order, but oh well. We had a great trip to Washington to visit my family. Todd and Jocelyn came home, too...so the whole crew was there! We ditched our kid and left town for 5 days and went to Victoria, BC and Seattle. We also stayed one night camping in port Angeles which was awesome. We played the whole time with buddies Dallas and Ashley, who were great companions (you know they have to be awesome to spend that much one-on-one time with!)

our favorite cancer patient!

kissing his "whiskaaas" that are his hair stubble

"grampa...police car..." They go together. He's pretty cool in W's eyes

W is a natural at foosball

"golfing" in Canada

Playing Settlers (Joce's face is PRICELESS) haha

We went on a tour of Seattle's Underground - what was left underneath the city when they raised it after the fire of 1889. Very cool history and funny stories.

Victoria Harbor

Kayaking! So fun. Never been before, and most definitely not on a busy harbor airport. Dragon boat was going on, so we saw that, we went out aways and saw starfish and seals. Best thing we did.

Dragonboat Festival.
