Thoughts on the BYU/Utah Game

I thought I'd let this picture do the talking for me:

And finally this, from BYU's quarterback, Max Hall:

"I don't like Utah. In fact, I hate them. I hate everything about them. I hate their program, their fans. I hate everything," Hall said Saturday. "It felt really good to send those guys home. I think the whole university and their fans and the organization is classless. I don't respect them and they deserved to lose."

A bunch of classless losers? That sounds about right.

Good Day to be a Cougar/The Making of a Picture

After much effort, this is the best picture we got in our BYU gear yesterday:

And now, the outtakes:
(In that annoying parental photography voice:) Warren, look at me! Cami, get your fingers out of your mouth!

Warren, it's ok. I'll help you, Camille...

Good job, Warren. No, Cami - fingers out!

Good job Cami. Warren, look at the camera!

No fingers! Look at the dang camera!

Put baby cougar back in the middle! Look at the camera, W! Cami! NO FINGERS!

I'm the mom, your sister doesn't like your helping with her fingers, I'll do it.

Cami's falling - Warren! Look!

At me! Look at ME!

Ah...as good as it's gonna get, I suppose. Photoshoot over.

Oh, and suck it Utah.

Catch up

Here's a little blitz of what we've been doing lately:

Took some baths

Worked on our smiling...

Took pictures at JCPenney. Surprise! They turned out well.

ahh...Cami fell asleep on me (this NEVER happens!)

Played in some leaves

Stopped Cami from eating 100 leaves

W went streaking through the neighborhood.

Got sleepy and decided to rest in the stroller

Cut my hair (side note: BANGS! I had hideous bangs in high school and I swore never again. In college I grew them out after a complete stranger in the cougareat started eating fries off my tray and told me I'd be "hotter without those bangs". Who does that?! I was so angry and yet so grateful, because he was the push over the edge I needed to grow those bad boys out. Then after I did I started getting all these dates. Superficial boys... Anyways, I have these baby hairs coming in after giving birth and they needed to be hidden. Viola. I can't decide if they're cool or matronly. Ah well, stuck with them now.)

Made a pretty & tasty chicken pot pie

W ate some corn dogs (food of the gods)

We said goodbye to our friends, the Moss Family. (W& Calvin)

Kissed ourselves in the mirror.

Read some books

Played with Scotty and Courtney over Thanksgiving break. (They're saying "Yeah!!!")

Went Black Friday shopping at the outlets with Courtney, Brett, and Heather. Scored some serious deals.

Made turkey hats. (I SEWED them! That's right, I'm a sewer. No, not really. But I can thread the machine and make it go - sometimes in a straight line even. I've been making baby leg warmers like crazy cause that's the only thing I really know how to do. Those and turkey hats.)

California Real Quick

Taylor's best friend from BYU, Doug, married the awesome Tamara. She is my BFF by default (good thing I love her). They adopted the cute baby Benjamin and are in line to adopt the future William sometime this month. As if two new babies wasn't reason enough to fly down for a visit, one of my best friends from BYU, Bonnie, is in their ward and threw Tamara her baby shower. The stars are definitely aligned, because having these 2 in the same place made for the best weekend! Cami and I enjoyed each other's company boy-free and Taylor and Warren had fun at home. It was a quick trip, so I think we need to go back in the Spring so we can take in some sights and see all the family we have down there. Thanks, girls, for a great time!

Cutest shower - Go Bonnie

C & Uncle Doug

Baby Benny - so cute, so little

Kisses!

Bonnie's favorite picture. She fell asleep face-first. So sad.

What a Deal!

Old Navy had their costumes on sale for $2 on October 30th. So I bought 7! The baby tiger was for any future child I might have, but I had to get Cami and W wearing them together for some pictures. She LOVES costumes, can you tell?

Holy Snow

2 feet dumped on us October 28th and 29th. It warmed up and melted right away, but not until we played a bit. Taylor even stayed home from work one day. Lucky us!

Halloween and G&G Warczak Visit

My parents found some cheap flights, so they came out to visit. Lucky for W, they were here for his birthday. We had fun throwing snowballs with grandpa, playing games with grandma, and had a fun Halloween.

Nothing cuter than 3-year-olds trick or treating

Cami wasn't loving it

Trunk or Treat
(With his red hair covered up, does he not look exactly like Taylor?)

Ladybugs!!

Boo at the Zoo=So much fun

Dual Purpose

Worn traditionally, it's a cowboy hat. Turn it on it's side, it's a pirate hat. Clever.

And if you're wondering what he's watching, it's this annoying youtube video from "Lazy Town". Check it:
You are A Pirate!
(It's grown on me...I sing it all the time)

First Fieldtrip

I went with Warren's preschool class to the fire station last week. Holy cute. I wish I could just sit and watch this little class all day, they were so funny. I adore his teacher, and the firemen were all very sweet to the little kiddos. Warren being in preschool is one of the best things that ever happened to me (us). Not only do I get a break a couple times a week, but he gets to do cool stuff and make new friends and learn from his awesome teacher. New phrase he tells me all the time - "I'm following directions, mom!" Thanks, Mrs. Gall. You're the bomb.

Warren's Party

We had a fun little shindig for Warren's birthday party this weekend. We started out making sock puppets, followed by a ghost hunt in the front yard, a little pin the nose on the pumpkin, cupcakes and "Happy Birthday Dear Warren" (which made his little face light up with JOY watching all the people sing to him), and lots of leaf pile-jumping. I think we all had a good time.
We hid about 40 of these ghost suckers in the front yard for the kids to find. By far the favorite activity of the day, I think.

The two noses that actually made it on the pumpkins were products of cheating, I'm afraid...

Dangit, I forgot to take a picture of the whole tower before they got eaten up. Just admire it from a distance, I guess.

I'm pretty sure Cami hates her costume. At least the smushy head thing. Oh well, only one more time she'll have to wear it and then it can go away forever.

Most of the kids thought the sock puppets were whatever, but the moms liked them. :)

Sesame Street

Steph is going to be upset that I'm taking up precious real estate, but I wanted to share two new discoveries that W and I found online. I loved Sesame Street as a kid, but it's a whole new experience to watch them as an adult. If you don't laugh when Cookie Monster says "arrive derci, Frog," "that the question, lady," "me no panic, me no panic," or "speech like that deserve at least five cookies," you have problems.

Last Trip To Elitch

h

We took our last trip of the season to Elitch Garden. We still had a free pass to use up, and the weather was perfect for a final tour of kiddie rides. Warren loves this place. Sad that Taylor only got to go with us one other time (that explains why I have zero pictures from the other 15 times we went this summer). We'll see how Cami's personality develops and if she'll allow us to do season passes next year without putting up a stink every time we go. :)

Thanks, Grandma K!

We love the nightlights, shirts, and the Mr. Potato Head. You rule. THANKS!

Hurry, Halloween!

Warren has literally asked to go trick or treating 50 times today. It's really going to mess him up when we have his B-day party a week before his actual birthday and Halloween. We've got lots of partying to do, so if the month could hurry up and get almost over, that would be grand.

On Tuesday I made this spooky tree, the glitter pumpkins and this cute banner (with binding/sewing help from Lindsay) I'm happy they turned out.

Just wait until these bad boys are carved and I break out my pumpkin jar luminaries. Those are only for the week of Halloween, unfortunately. I L-O-V-E fall and especially Halloween.
