Things I'm Into

MINT.COM
My friend, Laura told me about this a long time ago, but I've only started to use it recently. It's like free quicken online. It pulls all the info from my accounts and cards and compiles it into one big statement and tracks my budget for me. It's been helping me stay on track, which is a good thing. LOVE it. Beats checking 4 different accounts every few days and trying to sort it out in my brain.

SONIC
Happy Hour from 2-4 means half price drinks :). And it's not expensive to begin with. When it's stinkin' hot outside, a slush every day seems like a grand idea. I have so many mints in my ash tray! (They give you one with your order) And they have the best ice. Current favs are lemon-berry slush and diet cherry coke. Oh, and the cherry limeade shake has changed my life.

PANDORA.COM
If you haven't tried it, you're missing out. I've used it for a few years (thanks Morgan Lasley), but since moving the computer out to the living room, we have great music playing most of the day. For those not in the loop, it's customizable radio. You tell it what songs/artists you like and it finds songs for you. Then you tell it whether or not you like it and it keeps track and learns your taste. I have several awesome stations from Journey to Ben Harper to Darius Rucker to Raffi. My mom even thinks it's cool and has a Motown station.

DANCE PARTIES W/ WARREN
Speaking of Pandora, my "I'm Too Sexy" Station has been playing some wicked awesome dance songs. Warren and I like to dance around like crazy people and Cami watches us and smiles. If you know me, then you know I hate (HATE) exercising. So this is how I manage. 30 minutes of maniac dancing can break a sweat. You're welcome to join me as long as the video cameras stay home. :)

DARIUS RUCKER
Back to Darius. I think I wore out my Cracked Rear View CD by Hootie and the Blowfish back in the day. Hootie is a country singer now. Country+Hootie=amazing. I love him.

TAYLOR
Our 5 year anniversary passed, his birthday passed, and I haven't given Tay a proper shout-out on the bloggy blog. Mostly because when I read other blogs where the chick goes on and on and on about what a wonderful guy she's married to, it makes me want to vomit. I'm glad you like the guy you chose to live with forever, but tell him, not us. Because of my strong aversion, I don't feel like I ever say anything nice about Taylor. But let the record show that he is the greatest guy in the world and I'm the luckiest girl. He's handsome, a genius, funny - at least occasionally :), and a good husband and father. We all really dig him over here. Love you, Tay.

Sounds like some good stuff. I'll have to check out pandora.com. Sounds like my cup of tea.

I wouldn't have tried the cherry limeade shake, but since you've mentioned it I'll have to. You are responsible if I love it!

You have me craving a slurpy!! Lemon-berry slush?! Seriously it doesn't get any better than that in the summer.

You are welcome on the Pandora, and we like Tay over here, too.

Just not like that.

OMG - I love happy hour at Sonic too! We don't have any here in SoCal so any time I go to Utah, I make sure to hit it up. It's FANTASTIC! Love your cute family!
